33 kV Substations Near Badalpur and Astoli Set for Early Completion

The development authority also discussed the construction status of two 33 kV substations at Badalpur and Astoli. Both projects are currently six months from their slated completion dates.

Assistant CEO Preeta Singh directed the engineering teams to accelerate work and aim for an early finish. Faster commissioning of these substations will strengthen the power supply network, supporting the increased electricity demand expected during Diwali.

Timely completion will also benefit the ongoing rural electrification drive, which includes the installation of street lights and the resolution of pending power connections in farmer‑allocated plots.

The authority’s push for rapid progress reflects a broader strategy to modernize Greater Noida’s electricity infrastructure ahead of the festive season.
