327 Delegates Including 49 Women to Attend RSS Coordination Session Aug 19‑21

Visakhapatnam, August 18 (IANS) – The RSS announced that its All‑India Coordination Meeting will be held from August 19 to 21 at the Science Vihar School in Gudilova, near Visakhapatnam. The press briefing held on Tuesday revealed that a total of 327 delegates are slated to participate, comprising 49 women and 278 men.

The delegation will feature senior functionaries from 32 affiliate organisations, as well as senior RSS leaders such as General Secretary Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, Governor Dattatreya Hosbale, all senior governors and other veteran cadre.

Among the organisations sending representatives are the Indian Labour Union, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bharatiya Janata Party, All India Students Federation, Indian Farmers’ Union and Rashtriya Sevika Samiti. Overall, the meeting will host 253 senior officials and 74 additional key functionaries.

Sunil Ambekar, the national propaganda chief, clarified that the session is designed for sharing best practices and strengthening coordination among groups working in various societal sectors, rather than making executive decisions. The agenda covers demographic changes, population imbalance, drug‑free campaigns, the "Panch Parivartan" reform blueprint and a holistic Indian development model.

A striking increase in RSS interest during its centenary year was also highlighted. Registrations through the "Join RSS" portal rose from 55,423 (January‑July 2025) to 123,287 (January‑July 2026). July‑only sign‑ups grew from 9,718 in 2025 to 24,086 in 2026. Approximately 65% of the new registrants are below 30 years old, and 85% are under 40.

The briefing also featured South‑Central region co‑ordinator Dusi Ramakrishna and All‑India co‑propaganda chief Pradeep Joshi.
