In the early hours of Sunday, Tizit in Nagaland's Mon district saw an abrupt rise in water levels after hours of heavy rain. The floodplain near S. Poling Colony, just in front of the Greenfly factory, became the most severely hit zone, with water breaching the doors of roughly thirty houses. Inhabitants described how the lower sections of the town, lacking adequate drainage, turned into soggy messes that halted vehicular traffic and interrupted routine activities. Emergency responders noted that, despite the extensive water damage, there were no reports of fatalities or serious injuries at the time of reporting.
