13-Year-Old Student Joins Protest, Calls Out Exam Irregularities

In a striking turn of events, a 13‑year‑old sixth‑standard student named Jaide has joined the JPSC‑JSSSC sit‑in protest in Ranchi, drawing attention to the broader issue of examination malpractice. The young boy, speaking on behalf of his peers, lamented the repeated leakage of question papers and sudden cancellation of exams, describing it as a constant obstacle to their educational journey.

"We work tirelessly, preparing for competitive exams, only to see the paper either leaked or the exam canceled. It hampers our progress," Jaide told reporters, underlining the frustration felt by students across the state.

He appealed directly to Chief Minister Hemant Soren, requesting that the government fulfill the unmet needs of students and ensure that such disruptions do not recur in the future.

The protest, now in its thirteenth day, continues to attract a diverse group of participants, including ordinary citizens and school‑age children. Authorities have responded by forming an 11‑member delegation comprising eight student representatives, two parent‑journalists and a legal expert, prepared to meet with officials as soon as a meeting is scheduled.

Minister Irfan Ansari assured that the administration is actively seeking a solution, emphasizing the importance of dialogue and the creation of a dedicated committee to address the concerns of the youth.
