1127 kg Marijuana Seized; Drivers Receive Ten‑Year Rigorous Imprisonment

Narcotics Control Bureau officers intercepted a truck near Manjaram village on 15 Nov 2021 carrying 49 sacks of cannabis totaling 1,127 kg. The driver and co‑driver were later sentenced to ten years of rigorous imprisonment and fined one lakh rupees each.
