100 Assistant Coach Vacancies Open at Sports Authority of India

Young aspirants looking for stable government jobs in the sports sector now have a fresh opportunity. SAI has released an official notification to fill 100 Assistant Coach posts through deputation. The engagement period is three years, extendable to seven years. The application window began on 26 May and closes at 5 pm on 27 June. Applicants need a coaching diploma from SAI NS NIS Patiala or an equivalent qualification recognised by SAI. Alternatively, candidates who have participated in Olympics, Asian Games, Paralympics or World Championships and completed a certificate coaching course, or Dronacharya awardees, are also eligible. Government servants holding analogous posts or Level-5 posts with six years of service and pay between Rs 25,500 and Rs 81,100 can apply. The upper age limit stands at 56 years. After screening of applications, shortlisted candidates will face an interview. Final selection will be based on merit. Appointed coaches will draw salary in the pay matrix of Rs 35,400-1,12,400 along with other benefits. Completed application forms along with required documents should be sent by post to the specified SAI address in New Delhi before the deadline.
