In a major push for medical advancement, the Union Budget has granted AIIMS Delhi a special allocation of Rs 5,500.92 crore – up 5.85% from last year. This infusion is set to revolutionize research and innovation at one of India’s most revered medical centers.
Dr. Reema Dada, spokesperson for AIIMS Hospital’s media cell, shared insights on the allocation’s impact. ‘This funding will enable us to intensify state-of-the-art research in diverse medical fields and promote innovative healthcare solutions,’ she noted in an exclusive interview.
