State Orders Full Staffing and Equipment Checks at Referral Units and Trauma Centres

Minister Khimsar emphasized that every First Referral Unit and trauma centre must maintain a three‑doctor team at all times. He stressed that critical testing facilities, drugs and medical devices should be fully operational. While most advanced hospitals already have CT‑scan and MRI services, the minister announced that public‑private partnership models will be used to extend these facilities to institutions lacking them. Staffing levels are to be aligned with patient load, and duplicate postings at a single post are prohibited.
