The drone‑based campaign complements traditional vector‑control measures that ran from 17 to 23 September. During that period, field workers, municipal volunteers and health assistants applied larvicides in 150,172 households and performed fogging in 933 homes. In densely populated zones, fog‑generating machines were mounted on vehicles to reach streets, societies and public gathering points. Health officials also inspected 409 non‑residential locations—including schools, hospitals, factories and construction sites—to eliminate breeding grounds.
