Medical Camps Serve 1.74 Lakh People, Provide Antivenom and ORS in Flood Zones

A total of 6,868 medical camps were set up, screening more than 174,000 individuals and delivering immediate treatment. Over 1.5 crore chlorine tablets, 60 lakh ORS packets and 1,38,234 anti‑snake venom injections were stocked at primary and community health centres. 108 emergency services kept 1,496 ambulances and 816 community‑health‑centre ambulances on standby, with generators and diesel ensuring uninterrupted care during power cuts.
