Hospital declares satisfactory improvement for student injured in Delhi rally

RML Hospital announced on Thursday that a 21‑year‑old student, injured during the July 20 protest at Jan‑Tar‑Mantra, has shown considerable health gains and will be released. The protest, organized under the "Parliament Walk" banner, turned violent when a few participants resorted to stone‑throwing, prompting security forces to intervene with mild force. The student was rushed to the emergency department, placed on a ventilator, and later transferred to the ICU. Over ten days, she regained consciousness, was weaned off ventilatory support, and progressed through a rehabilitation program that restored her mobility and speech. Medical officials confirmed she is now stable, alert, and able to walk independently.
