Health Officials Probe Kadhi‑Rice Meal After Hundreds Fall Ill

In Indore's Sangver region, a government school’s lunch of kadhi and rice led to a health scare affecting over thirty children. Symptoms such as stomach ache, dizziness and fever appeared almost instantly after the meal. Nineteen children were admitted to Arvind Hospital, with four placed in ICU as a precaution. The district administration dispatched food samples to a laboratory and a health department team took additional on‑site samples. Authorities await lab results before taking further action.
