First NHM webinar spotlights anemia solutions for children and adolescents

The inaugural webinar focused on anemia in children and teenagers. Three states displayed distinctive models: Jharkhand presented the “Anemia‑Free India T4” mobile app and an integrated home‑based newborn and young‑child care visit program; Chhattisgarh discussed its “Chirayu Day” initiative under the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram; Madhya Pradesh shared a targeted approach to combat rising adolescent obesity. All three interventions were designed around local needs and demonstrated potential for replication across other regions.
