Deputy Chief Minister Reports Over 1.34 Crore Children Screened for Sickle Cell in MP

Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla announced that 13.4 million children have been screened for sickle‑cell disease in the state. He said 92% of the screened children received genetic cards and that the "Sickle Cell Mitra" initiative has produced 4,825 volunteers so far. Ongoing multi‑pronged efforts aim to expand this network further, especially in high‑prevalence districts.
