Following an uptick in H1N1 infections, the Delhi administration has intensified oversight of all public hospitals. Health Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh ordered senior officials and medical directors to conduct regular audits of infrastructure, staffing and supply chains. He emphasized that the inspections will continue until the situation stabilises, and that any gaps identified will be addressed immediately. The minister reiterated that Delhi’s health workforce – doctors, nurses, lab technicians and support staff – remains vigilant and ready to manage any increase in patient load.
