Congress Leader Blames MP Govt for ‘Water‑Bottle Drip’ Scandal in Hospital

Arun Yadav, former Union minister and ex‑state president of the Congress, accused the Madhya Pradesh government of allowing a “water‑bottle drip” to be used on patients at a government hospital in Dindori. He highlighted a social‑media video that shows a bedridden patient with an IV line attached to a bottle of water mixed with medicine. Yadav said the incident exposes the “double‑engine” health model of the ruling party, which he described as more about political promotion than genuine care. He noted that the state’s health narrative focuses on high‑tech ventilators, while ordinary citizens face sub‑standard treatment and growing hardship. According to Yadav, the Congress will relentlessly bring such evidence to public attention, referencing other disturbing images of patients on makeshift beds and bodies being carried on motorcycles. The health department has responded by stating that recruitment of doctors and procurement of essential equipment are in progress.
