Bhopal hosts national oral‑maxillofacial surgeons meet with Tripura CM as chief guest
Bhopal, July 2 – Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha touched down in the capital on Thursday to serve as the chief guest at a three‑day national conference on oral and maxillofacial surgery. The event is co‑hosted by the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India, MP State Chapter, and Peoples University, and will run from July 2 to July 4. Dr. Saha joins a roster of distinguished surgeons and academicians from India and abroad. Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla welcomed him at his official residence, where the two leaders deliberated on strengthening health‑service delivery and advancing medical‑education standards. The chief minister’s wife, Swapna Saha, was also in attendance. Shukla underlined that the conference serves as an essential platform for surgeons, scholars and postgraduate trainees to share knowledge, explore the latest clinical innovations and bridge research with practice. Sessions under the banner “Building a Complete Surgeon” will feature research papers, practical workshops on novel techniques and talks on emerging educational trends.
