Ayush Trainees Appeal to Deputy CM for Salary Increase After 15 Years

Lucknow, September 8 – Fifteen years after the last adjustment, Ayush trainees at the National Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital are demanding a substantial stipend increase. The group approached Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak’s residence, presenting a unified demand for their monthly allowance to be raised from ₹7,500 to ₹25,000. Speakers like Jala Kumar Yadav and Nivedika Singh pointed out that while MBBS and BDS students have benefited from two separate hikes, Ayush interns have been overlooked despite performing identical clinical duties. The students stressed that their request is a plea for equitable treatment, not a protest against the state, and they intend to submit a formal memorandum to the Deputy CM.
