AIIA Campus Cleanliness Drive Engages Faculty, Researchers, and Staff

From September 17 through October 2, the All India Ayush Institute (AIIA) conducted an intensive cleanliness drive across its campus. The program, part of the "Swachhata Hi Seva" 2026 campaign, invited faculty, Ph.D. scholars, postgraduate students, hospital staff, patients, and caregivers to actively participate.

Participants received training on proper waste segregation, the importance of reducing single‑use plastic, and techniques for creating household compost. The initiative also emphasized the three Rs – reduce, reuse, recycle – as essential tools for minimizing environmental impact.

Volunteer teams cleaned administrative blocks, laboratory spaces, patient waiting lounges, and outdoor common areas. Designated zones within the institute were earmarked for continuous monitoring to ensure lasting cleanliness.

The drive highlighted the institute’s broader objective: fostering a culture where clean, hygienic surroundings are seen as foundational to health and development. By integrating community service with academic life, AIIA reinforced its role as a leader in public health advocacy.

The event concluded with a pledge ceremony where participants affirmed their commitment to ongoing sanitation efforts, signaling a sustained push toward a healthier campus environment.
