The food regulator confiscated more than 32 metric tonnes of inventory from CG Food India, which comprised open‑air broken noodles, two variants of veg bhujia ("YY Mama" and "YY Mama Punte") produced without a licence, and 1,925 boxes of finished products that had already passed their expiry dates. Laboratory samples of the broken noodles, both bhujia variants, cooking oil from the frying line, and ready‑to‑eat YY noodles were also collected for analysis. Legal action has been initiated against the company for these violations.
