Over 2.13 Lakh Suspected Measles Cases Reported Amid Hospitalizations of 189,484 Patients

The Ministry of Health in Bangladesh announced that the measles outbreak has now produced 213,244 suspected cases nationwide. In the last 24 hours, 1,254 additional suspected patients were added to the list, while 65 new cases were confirmed, raising the total confirmed count to 23,122. Since mid‑March, a total of 189,484 suspected measles patients have been admitted to hospitals across the country. Of these, 181,756 have recovered and been released, highlighting the strain on medical facilities and the urgency of containment measures.
