State’s Forest, Transport, Housing, Environment, Law, Legislative and Climate Change Minister and Kawardha MLA Mr. Mohammad Akbar participated in the Madai program related to the traditional culture of Chhattisgarh organized at village Kampa today. He offered prayers and wished for happiness and prosperity and started the program. The cabinet minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar was traditionally welcomed by the Yadav community on his arrival at the event. On this occasion, Minister Mr. Akbar congratulated the residents of the area for organizing the Madai Mela and gave many gifts on his behalf. He announced Rs 11 lakh 48 thousand for the construction of school building in village Kampa. In Mandai, announced Rs 25,000 to the Yadav Samaj dance team and Rs 25,000 to the children participating in the cultural programme. On this occasion, CREDA member Mr. Kanhaiya Agarwal, Mr. Mandi President Neelkanth Sahu, Mr. Chowaram Ram Sahu, Mr. Sanat Jaiswal and public representatives and villagers were present in the program. Said that Madai is associated with the traditional culture of the village. It is organized for the happiness and prosperity of the village. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, the government is working to save the traditional culture. The Madai program is part of the traditional culture. Still kept alive by the society. This traditional culture has to be preserved and taken forward. Continuous work is being done by the government for the development of traditional culture. Schemes being implemented to strengthen the rural economy – Minister Mr. Akbar Minister Mr. Akbar said that we had made promises to the people before forming the government. Keeping all those promises on priority, they are fulfilling them. He said that schemes are being implemented to strengthen the rural economy. The Chhattisgarh government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, waived off short-term loans of farmers. Loan waiver of Rs 455 crore 65 lakh has been approved for 75 thousand 450 farmers of the district. Ration cards were made for 65 lakh families of the state. In the coming three years, the family is being divided with time, now again the problem of new ration card or division of existing ration card by those families has been brought to notice. The state government is now giving ration cards to all such families. The Rajiv Gandhi Bhoomihin Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana has been formulated for the economic development of the landless laborers of the state. The state government is procuring 65 types of forest produce by increasing 7 types of forest produce for the development of lakhs of families of the state associated with forest produce collection. Tendupatta standard bag has been increased from 2500 to 4000 rupees. Minister Mr. Akbar told the villagers that Mukhyamantri Urban Slum Yojana has been made for better health facilities in the state. Special efforts are being made to get rid of malnutrition by running Chief Minister Nutrition Campaign. For the youth of the state, youths are being connected with governance and administration by forming Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club in every village. Cheap medicines are being made available by opening Shree Dhanwantri Medical. Mukhyamantri Hot Bazar Clinic Yojana has been made to provide better health facilities through hot markets.
