Actress Ileana D’Cruz gave birth to her child in August last year. The actress and Michael Dolan named their son Koa Phoenix Dolan. Interestingly, Ileana says that when she was pregnant, she did not think of a boy’s name because she was sure that she would have a daughter.

How the son was given the unusual name Koa Phoenix
The actress further said, “I wanted to name my child something unusual, because my name is also unique. Koa (Koa Phoenix Dolan) somehow stood outside. I talked to Mike (Michael) about it and he also liked it. Phoenix is a name that has been on my mind for some time. Also, the line ‘rising from the ashes like a phoenix’ is inspirational. Actually, I got a tattoo of a phoenix in 2018, which had a deep meaning for me. “Mike liked this name and I hope Koa will also like this name when he grows up.”

Ileana says, “I think it is going to be a very eventful year. Not because of the child, but also because of work. I had accomplished a lot of work before my pregnancy. I had completed every project so that I could relax and enjoy my pregnancy. I think 2024 is going to be a good year. I hope that my project will be released this year and I can be in India for promotions with Koa (Koa Phoenix Dolan) and my partner. I would love to be on the sets with Koa.”
