Jr. NTR, the South superstar, is set to debut in Bollywood with the film ‘War 2,’ alongside Hrithik Roshan. The film is scheduled to release in theaters on August 14th. A pre-release event for the movie was held in Hyderabad on August 10th, attended by Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR. At the event, Jr. NTR praised Hrithik and elaborated on why South Indian superstars often hesitate to venture into Bollywood. During the event, Jr. NTR expressed his admiration for Hrithik, stating, “I’ve learned so much from working with you for 75 days. I can’t wait to share the screen with you again. Thank you for considering me your brother.” He also acknowledged the welcoming nature of Hrithik.
Jr. NTR further mentioned the impact of S.S. Rajamouli’s film ‘RRR,’ which catapulted him to pan-India stardom. He highlighted that despite the success of films like ‘RRR’ that blurred the lines between South and North Indian cinema, a sense of apprehension remains among South Indian actors about being accepted in Bollywood. NTR shared his gratitude to Hrithik for his warm acceptance, saying, “Thank you for wholeheartedly accepting me and embracing me, which you did so beautifully on the first day. I will never forget the moments we shared on ‘War 2’.”
During the pre-release event, Hrithik Roshan addressed the audience, referring to Jr. NTR as his brother. He expressed, “We are all brothers and family. Tarak (Jr. NTR) and I started working as co-stars and ended up becoming brothers in real life.” Hrithik requested the fans to continue showing the same love and support to his ‘brother,’ Jr. NTR, as he deserves it.
