‘Vibe’ Teaser Shows Khemu, Sprash Turn Accidental Heroes
A fresh promotional clip for Kunal Khemu’s upcoming comedy ‘Vibe’ has been released, offering a glimpse of the film’s light‑hearted espionage storyline. The teaser, posted on social media, opens with a humorous line about “forced agents,” setting the tone for a parody of spy movies.
Immediate responses poured in from industry colleagues such as Raj Andakte and Anshuman Pushkar, who praised the quirky premise. The 1:20‑minute video follows Khemu and Sprash Srivastav as they inadvertently become entangled in a looming danger, effectively turning them into accidental heroes.
Preeti Jinta appears as the head of a secret agency, tasked with thwarting a terrorist attack. She assigns Khemu and Sprash to the mission, despite their evident lack of nerve, which fuels the film’s comedic chaos.
The trailer also depicts a comical training segment where Khemu and a character called Bugs are indoctrinated as agents, with Sprash portraying a stern trainee while Khemu’s role is carefree and clumsy.
‘Vibe’ is written, directed, and led by Kunal Khemu. The ensemble includes Preeti Jinta, Sprash Srivastav, and Vanshika Dheer. Produced by Khemu and Chirag Nihalani under Drongo Films, the movie is slated for a theatrical release on 18 September.
