Varun Dhawan Clears Air on Rivalry With Siddharth

Mumbai, October 31: Actor Varun Dhawan has put rumours of a rivalry with Siddharth Malhotra to rest with a picture shared from a recent get-together with Siddharth and Kiara Advani.

In the photo, posted on his social media account, Varun is seen with Siddharth and Kiara. Kiara strikes a playful pose in the background, while Siddharth is caught trying to conceal her baby bump.

The post carried a message from Varun: "There may have been some debate, but there has never been any rivalry with my brother. Thank you for the hospitality, bhabhi ji."

Varun and Siddharth began their journey in Bollywood together with 'Student of the Year', released in 2012 and directed under Karan Johar's banner. Alia Bhatt also made her debut with the film. The three have since built successful careers in the industry.

Despite not working together again after the film, the two actors have frequently discussed their relationship in public. In 2023, they were seen together on the chat show 'Koffee With Karan', where they opened up about their friendship and the long years they have stayed in touch.

Varun shares a close bond with Kiara as well. The two co-starred in the 2022 family entertainer 'Jug Jugg Jeeyo'.

On the personal front, Siddharth and Kiara became parents to a daughter in July 2025. On October 7, 2026, they officially revealed their second pregnancy through a joint post, in which their daughter Saraya was seen holding baby socks.

The couple wrote, "We have received the best gift once again. Our hearts are filled with love and gratitude."

Varun and his wife Natasha Dalal welcomed their daughter Lara in June 2024.
