Social media influencer Sufi Motiwala, known for his appearance on Karan Johar’s reality show ‘The Traitors,’ has confirmed the end of his friendship with Apoorva Mukhija, also known as The Rebel Kid. The two, who formed a close bond during the show, appear to have had a falling out. Addressing rumors that he had used Mukhija for personal gain, Motiwala took to Instagram Stories to clarify the situation. He stated that he hadn’t collaborated with Mukhija on any reels and had only appeared on her YouTube channel twice, both times featuring her content. Motiwala attributed the decision to distance himself to a lack of accountability within the friendship, and the emotional toll of online abuse from Mukhija’s followers. He explained that he even asked Mukhija to request her audience to stop the abuse, but she didn’t seem concerned. Motiwala asserted that he built his success through hard work and wouldn’t allow misinformation to discredit his efforts. Fans had enjoyed their friendship on ‘The Traitors,’ but recent social media activity shows the two are no longer interacting online. Motiwala has unfollowed Mukhija on Instagram, despite having attended events together, while Mukhija has yet to respond to Motiwala’s statements.
