How Small Cash Rewards Shaped the Set of Vijay Setuppati’s Upcoming Film ‘Train’

Actor Vijay Setuppati gave an inside look at director Miskin’s distinctive approach to crew management while promoting the teaser of his new film ‘Train’. Miskin’s practice involves giving a Rs 1,000 cash token each day to the most efficient technician and the most promising junior artist.

Setuppati explained that despite the modest Rs 2,000 daily investment, the initiative cultivates a culture of excellence. ‘People work harder when they feel their effort is noticed and valued,’ he observed.

The distribution of the award sometimes comes from the heroine of the film, creating a moment of collective appreciation that Setuppati described as feeling like a holiday celebration on set.

He also commended Miskin’s caring demeanor, noting the director’s habit of looking after every individual and openly sharing his experience.

The 43‑second teaser released for ‘Train’ shows a speeding train seized by dangerous individuals, with Setuppati’s character standing alone against the threat. V Creations is producing the film, which also stars Nasir, Shruti Hasan, K.S. Ravikumar, Sampat Raj, Ira Dayanand and Preeti Karan. The release is planned for August.
