Her first venture in this capacity is the upcoming feature “Solah.”

In a detailed interview, Bendre revealed that the film represents more than a professional assignment—it symbolizes the commencement of a new era in her life. “I have always been attracted to narratives that stay with you after the curtains fall, prompting introspection. The moment I heard the storyline of ‘Solah,’ I felt an immediate connection.”

She explained why presenting the film matters to her: “Presenting is an opportunity to champion stories that linger in the mind, that invite viewers to pause, think, and perhaps see life from a fresh perspective. ‘Solah’ delivered exactly that experience; I found myself contemplating its message long after the first listening.”

According to Bendre, the plot’s core resonates because it explores hope, bravery, and the quiet inner strength of ordinary people—qualities seldom highlighted in everyday conversations. “Having observed illness, struggle, and eventual recovery up close, I now understand the priceless nature of hope and courage. ‘Solah’ aligns perfectly with my desire to start this new journey.”
