Shahid Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter Dance on Kapil's Comedy Show

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is set to appear on a special episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show with his brother Ishaan Khatter and wife Meera Rajput. The episode promises plenty of laughter, as Shahid shares a playful story about his younger brother.

A promo released by Netflix on Instagram shows the family making their entry. The highlight is a dance performance by Shahid and Ishaan to the song Jhingaat.

Shahid also revisited the making of Udta Punjab, the 2016 film that featured Meera's husband in a key role. He recalled that after the shoot, the crew watched the film in the editing room. Meera had been seated beside him at the beginning, but when the film ended, she had moved to the far side of the sofa.

Kapil Sharma quipped that it was fortunate Meera had not seen Kabir Singh, as she would have fled if she had watched it before getting married.

Shahid spoke fondly about Ishaan's childhood, recalling how he once changed his brother's diapers. He added that Ishaan now jokingly says he will return the favour when Shahid is older.

Archana Puran Singh then asked whether Shahid was an overly lenient father. Meera answered that he loves the children deeply and pampers them, but never in the wrong way. Shahid said Ishaan rides fast but safely, and that while he spoils the kids, he does so in a good way.

The show, a comedy and variety talk series in the style of Kapil Sharma's earlier programmes, brings together celebrity guests from films, sports and other fields for relaxed, humorous conversations.
