Shah Rukh Khan, the ‘King’ of Hindi cinema, has ascended to become one of the wealthiest actors globally. According to the Hurun India Rich List 2025, Khan has become a billionaire for the first time in his career. His net worth has reached $1.4 billion, equivalent to 12490 crore rupees. Remarkably, this marks a significant increase from his net worth of $780 million (approximately 7300 crore rupees) in the Hurun India Rich List 2024, indicating a gain of over $1 billion in a single year.
Khan recently received his first National Film Award in his 33-year career, followed by another piece of good news for him and his fans. He has also been celebrating the success of his son Aryan’s directorial debut series as a writer-director, signifying a period of substantial success for the actor.
His net worth surged impressively, with an increase of approximately 5190 crore rupees in just one year. Despite the absence of a new film release during this period, as his last film, Dunki, was released in December 2023, his wealth has still grown substantially.
The year 2023 proved to be a dream year for the actor. After a five-year hiatus following the box office failure of Zero in 2018, Khan made a triumphant return. Pathaan earned 1055 crore worldwide, followed by Jawan, which grossed 1160 crore, and Dunki, which collected 454 crore globally.
Khan’s earnings come from diverse sources, reflecting his status as a global icon. His primary income source is his film career, and he also owns the production house Red Chillies, established in 2002, which has produced several successful films and series. Furthermore, Khan earns substantial income from endorsements. He is also a co-owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders IPL team and co-owns the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, Los Angeles Knight Riders, and Trinbago Knight Riders. In 2024, the brand value of Kolkata Knight Riders was estimated at over $109 million (more than 966 crore rupees).
Khan’s real estate investments significantly contribute to his net worth. His Mumbai residence, Mannat, is valued at over 200 crore rupees. He also owns an apartment on Park Lane in London, a villa in Beverly Hills, properties in Delhi, a farmhouse in Alibaug, and a home in Dubai.
