Shah Rukh Khan Stuns Fans with New King Poster Look
Fans of Shah Rukh Khan are buzzing after the makers of ‘King’ dropped a new poster that showcases the star in a rugged, high-stakes avatar. The action thriller, which is gearing up for its release, continues to generate excitement with each official update.
The poster presents Shah Rukh Khan with a rose held in his mouth, a gun in hand and a piercing gaze. The release date of 24 December 2026 appears on the visual, giving audiences a clear timeline to look forward to.
Sharing the poster on Instagram, the makers added the line, “Katil nahi... aashiq hoon.” The contrast between the words and the imagery has become a major talking point on social media.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, ‘King’ is said to draw inspiration from the 1994 French crime film ‘Leon: The Professional’. According to reports, a teaser for the film may be released digitally on 2 November 2026, marking the actor’s birthday.
The film is also significant for featuring Suhana Khan alongside her father, Shah Rukh Khan, for the first time on screen. Abhishek Bachchan plays the menacing antagonist, bringing a dark edge to the story.
The film boasts a strong supporting lineup, including Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Jaideep Ahlawat, Jackie Shroff, Raghav Juyal and Abhay Verma. It is being produced by Gauri Khan, Siddharth Anand and Mamta Anand, backed by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures.
No other details about the project have been announced yet. Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in ‘Dunki’ in 2023, a film about illegal immigration that featured Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, Anil Grover, Vikram Kochhar and a special appearance by Vicky Kaushal.
