‘Satyaavan Savitri’ Starring Kirti Suresh Set for Worldwide Theatrical Launch
“Satyaavan Savitri,” the latest courtroom drama from director Praveen S. Vijay, is slated for a global theatrical release on November 20. The film features Kirti Suresh in the titular role, with director Mishkin playing a senior advocate opposite her.
Drumsticks Productions posted the official poster on its social media account, declaring the film’s new launch date and emphasizing the line “Now the silence ends, Savitri’s battle begins.” The same announcement was mirrored in Tamil and Telugu, reflecting the film’s multilingual outreach.
The project’s original release window of July 24 was pushed back after the creative team decided to fine‑tune certain elements. Earlier this year, the first‑look poster displayed Kirti Suresh turning away, while a cadre of lawyers stared ahead, hinting at the legal conflict that drives the plot.
The storyline follows two lawyers—Kirti’s character and Mishkin’s senior‑advocate—who find themselves at odds during a pivotal case. When Kirti’s superior opts to protect the wrongdoers, she attempts to reason with him, only to uncover a startling side of his personality that reshapes her life.
The cast also includes Heartbeat Charukesh, Balasaran, Madhusudanan, Shilpa Manjunath, R. Sundararajan, Mala Parvathi, and A. Venkatesh. Arul Vincent is responsible for cinematography, and Sam C.S. composes the music. The film is a collaborative production between G Studios and Drumsticks Productions.
