Sanvi Talwar on the challenges of portraying Riya in ‘Khamosh Aahat’

Mumbai, 14 July – Actress Sanvi Talwar continues to cement her reputation in television and digital platforms with the release of ‘Khamosh Aahat’, a psychological horror thriller that has captivated viewers.

Talwar, who plays the pivotal role of Riya, spoke about the demanding nature of the character. “Riya is a woman whose family is her anchor. When she gets entangled in a mysterious ‘chakra‑vyuh curse’, every promise she makes demands a sacrifice,” she explained. “The story pushes her through a series of highs and lows, blending fear, mystery, emotion and suspense.”

She also praised the synergy she experienced with co‑star Rakesh Bapat. “I first noticed Rakesh in ‘Tum Bin’, so collaborating with him felt like a rewarding surprise. Our on‑screen bond made it easier to deliver the performance, and his strong acting elevated my own,” she said.

The series is notable for its international collaboration, featuring talent from India, Pakistan and Dubai, creating a distinct cross‑border artistic partnership. Talwar described the role as one of the toughest in her career, providing opportunities to showcase a range of emotions – from terror to determination – making Riya a memorable figure for the audience.

‘Khamosh Aahat’ premiered on 10 July, with Rakesh Bapat portraying Talwar’s husband in the series.
