Sania Mirza's Serving It Up Returns with Big Guests

Tennis star Sania Mirza has launched the second season of her podcast, 'Serving It Up with Sania', bringing fans another round of lively and candid conversations. Mixing sports and entertainment, the show is set to feature a strong slate of guests, starting with a high-profile episode.

The first episode welcomes actors Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal. The couple is expected to talk about their relationship, their marriage and their experience of working together on screen.

Sania shared how her career as a podcaster began. She said she had not known how much fun the format would be when she first tried it, but over time she found that these conversations reveal a different side of people than the one seen in public.

Explaining why she chose to return, Sania said the first season's success and the positive reaction from audiences inspired her to come back for a second season. She said that after years of performing on the tennis court, she is now enjoying this new role as a podcaster. She also said she is eager to share the new season's conversations with the audience.

The opening episode begins with Sania playing pickleball alongside Sonakshi and Zaheer. The couple's seven-year relationship then becomes a central topic of conversation.

Sonakshi and Zaheer previously shared the screen in the 2022 film 'Double XL'. They have since worked together again on 'Tu Hai Meri Kiran', a psychological romantic thriller that is now running in cinemas.

Sonakshi spoke about the difficulty of on-screen romance, particularly when the person is her husband. She said such scenes can feel uncomfortable, even though both of them stay completely professional while working.

She also talked about her love for travel. Sonakshi noted that her work has taken her on trips for 25 to 30 weeks in her life, which made her feel she no longer needed to travel, though she clearly still enjoys it.
