From Controversy to Icon: Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss Journey Began with 'Das Ka Dum'

In a candid segment on Bigg Boss 20’s "Weekend Warrior," Salman compared his experience on "Das Ka Dum" to Amitabh Bachchan’s rise as the beloved "KBC uncle." He explained that the show aired when his film career faced a slump and his personal life was under intense scrutiny. With his father’s encouragement, he embraced the hosting role, which quickly earned him a fresh identity among television audiences. The two‑season run of "Das Ka Dum" created a new fan base that followed him into subsequent seasons of Bigg Boss, where he has now completed seventeen editions as the main anchor.
