Saif Ali Khan Shares Humorous PTA Stories with Kareena on TV
In a candid segment of "The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show," Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor entertained the studio audience with anecdotes from Saif’s long‑standing PTA habit.
Saif disclosed that his very first parent‑teacher meeting happened when he was just 20. He humorously added that at 30, 40 and now 55, he continues to attend the same school’s PTA, observing how the faculty has turned over while his own family has grown.
"When I was twenty, I walked into my first PTA; today, at fifty‑five, I’m still here, though the teachers have all changed," Saif said, eliciting laughter.
The host, Archana Puran Singh, asked who usually goes to such meetings. Saif replied that his four children, each at a different stage of schooling, all attend the same institution, which makes his regular presence almost inevitable.
Kareena then shifted the tone, describing Saif’s three proposals – across Mumbai, Greece, and Paris – and how she finally said yes after the Paris episode. Saif’s witty comment about saving money if she had accepted in Mumbai added a comedic punch.
The couple’s romance, marriage on October 16, 2012, and their two sons, Taimur and Jehangir, were also highlighted. Saif’s earlier marriage to actress Amrita Singh produced daughter Sara and son Ibrahim, completing the picture of a busy, multi‑generational household.
