Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2026: Anu Malik Says Feeling Makes a Song

Music composer Anu Malik has joined 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2026' as a special judge, bringing his experience and perspective to the singing reality show. He believes that a song becomes memorable not just because of sur and taal, but because of the emotions the singer brings to it.

This is not the first time Anu Malik has been part of the show. Returning after a long time, he will be seen on the judging panel for the fourth time, reconnecting with a platform he has been associated with for many years.

Joining him this season are Shankar Mahadevan, Javed Ali, Neeti Mohan and Kumar Sanu. The show is being hosted by actor Shreyas Talpade.

Sharing his thoughts on his return, Anu Malik said that the show brings back many beautiful memories for him. He said that being close to music and meeting young singers who have strong passion and ability is always a source of happiness.

He stressed that singing is about the feeling a performer expresses and how that feeling reaches the audience. Every singer, he said, has a personal style and a story, and these qualities are what make music so beautiful.

According to Anu Malik, every singer has a distinct identity. Some impress audiences with their voice, while others infuse their performances with emotion in a way that makes listeners connect deeply. That is why the same song can be experienced differently when it is sung by different singers. A singer's real quality, he explained, is found not only in the voice but also in the ability to understand a song and feel it while singing.

Praising the platform, he said that 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' continues to find new talent and offer young artists an opportunity to move forward. He described it as 'Hindustan ka Sangeetsthan' and said he was excited to be part of this musical celebration and to witness the talent of the new generation.

The show 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2026' airs on Zee TV.
