Raza Murad Calls Out Industry Heroes for Not Paying Final Respect

On September 26, veteran actor Mushtaq Khan succumbed to illness at Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai. Although a number of film and television colleagues visited his family, many high‑profile stars did not make it to the funeral. Raza Murad used Instagram to voice his disappointment, stating that those who are routinely celebrated as ‘heroes’ failed to attend the last tribute for a man who gave his entire career to Bollywood. He likened their absence to a scenario where celebrities would hustle as waiters at a businessman’s celebration, yet refuse to be present at a fellow artist’s goodbye. Murad emphasized Khan’s honest craftsmanship and warned that fame and riches are transient, urging the community to uphold genuine respect.
