Ranbir Kapoor’s surprise musical act at 80th North Bombay Durga Puja

The 80th edition of the North Bombay public Durga Puja turned into a memorable night for fans when Ranbir Kapoor made an unexpected musical appearance on October 18. Dressed in a vivid red and gold kurta paired with a white pajama, the actor first offered prayers to the goddess before joining singer Harshdeep Kaur on stage. Together they performed the beloved song “Kabira” from *Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani*, with Ranbir taking the microphone, echoing the lyrics and inviting the audience to participate. The spontaneous duet was recorded by attendees and spread rapidly across social platforms. The pandal also welcomed other notable personalities, including actress Kajol with her children, senior actress Jaya Bachchan, and director Anurag Basu, all of whom took part in the traditional rituals. Ranbir’s surprise act not only highlighted the cultural significance of the celebration but also served as a reminder of his upcoming role as Lord Rama in the two‑part film *Ramayan: Rise of a Legend*, set to debut its first part on November 5.
