The remarks were made during a Diwali special episode of the popular quiz show. Explaining his views, Ranbir said, 'The foundation and root of our relationship is friendship. I have always believed that love connects two people, trust makes a relationship stronger, and respect keeps it intact. These are, in my opinion, the key foundations of any relationship.'

His love story with Alia Bhatt began on the sets of 'Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva'. After dating for several years, the couple got married on April 14, 2022.
