Ramesh Verma’s ‘Mahavir Karn’ Set for Nationwide Release

Saturday saw the debut of the teaser for "Mahavir Karn," the upcoming historical epic helmed by director Ramesh Verma. The film, produced by Pen Movies alongside Neeladrri Production House and R.V. Films, narrates the life of Karna—a celebrated warrior from the Mahabharata—emphasising his struggles, loyalty to friends, and the heavy price of his promises.

Employing a hybrid live‑action format, the production team strives to depict Karna as a relatable human being grappling with betrayal, fate, and duty, rather than a distant mythological icon. The teaser teases massive battle scenes intertwined with poignant personal moments.

Technical credits feature cinematographer Ramji Dot, editor Praveen Pudi, dialogue writer Shrimani and music director Gyani. After delivering commercial hits like "Rakshasudoo" and "Khilaadi," Verma ventures into mythic storytelling with this ambitious project.

The film is slated for a worldwide grand release on 4 December, with pan‑India distribution and the backing of seasoned producer Jayantilal Gada.
