Punjab's Global Icon Diljit Dosanjh Moves Concert After Senator's Appeal

Following a request from Rajya Sabha member Vikramjit Singh Sahni, Diljit Dosanjh revised the schedule of his Delhi performance.

Originally set for 1 November, the date coincides with the anniversary of the 1984 anti‑Sikh riots. The concert has been advanced to 30 October to avoid offending the memories of those affected.

Sahni lauded the artist as a true Punjabi hero, emphasizing that such responsiveness underscores the duty of prominent personalities to act with compassion and respect.
