Celebrating India: Puja Heagade Leads Parade in Manhattan

The 44th India Day Parade unfolded on Madison Avenue in Manhattan on August 18, spotlighting actress Puja Heagade as its Guest of Honor. Dressed in a distinguished sash, Heagade led the procession while clutching the Indian national flag, a visual testament to pride and patriotism.

Through a series of social media updates, Heagade narrated her experience, describing the moment as both an honor and an emotional journey. She highlighted the congregation of Indian expatriates celebrating their heritage, culture, and shared values, underscoring the parade's role in uniting the diaspora.

The Federation of Indian Associations, responsible for orchestrating the event, was praised for its efficient coordination and dedication to presenting a grand showcase of Indian customs.
