‘Preetam & Pedro’ Marks Director Rajkumar Hirani’s First OTT Venture

The digital platform Jio Hotstar introduced “Preetam & Pedro” on July 3, signaling director Rajkumar Hirani’s first attempt at an extended OTT format. The cyber‑crime comedy‑drama stars newcomer Veer Hirani as hacker Preetam Parker, supported by Bollywood veterans Arshad Warsi, Vikrant Massey, Boman Irani, Mona Singh, Satish Deyp and Shruti Marathe.

Amir Khan, a senior figure in the film world, lauded the project and extended heartfelt wishes to Veer and the entire production house. He highlighted Veer’s growth from a child actor to a promising lead, noting the emotional significance of the milestone.

The seasoned actor believes the series will resonate with audiences, praising its mix of humor, crime intrigue, and the meticulous effort behind its making.
