Mumbai police have warned rapper‑singer Yo Yo Honey Singh that a Look‑Out Circular (LOC) may be issued if he does not comply with the Maharashtra Cyber Cell’s latest summons dated October 16. The artist had earlier sought a reprieve until October 22, a request that was flatly denied.

The cyber cell’s notice follows three prior attempts to secure his testimony regarding a provocative statement he made at a Delhi concert in early 2026. Each time Honey Singh cited international engagements and requested more time, but the authorities remained unmoved.

An LOC would restrict his ability to travel across state lines and could lead to his arrest should he attempt to leave the jurisdiction. The cyber cell’s filing notes that the comment, perceived as vulgar, ignited public outrage and prompted a formal complaint that escalated into a criminal investigation.
