‘Once More’ Secures Production After Producer Youthful Ganesh Supports Das
The path to bringing "Once More" to the silver screen was fraught with negotiations over its lead actor. After Vignesh Shrikant presented the script to several production houses, a recurring request emerged: replace Arjun Das with a more commercially proven star.
Arjun Das, recalling the trailer event, explained that while many companies were ready to finance the film, they attached the condition of a casting swap. Such a demand placed the director in a difficult position, as securing a producer is often a critical step for any movie.
Shrikant’s answer was clear and consistent – he would continue working on the film only with Das. This unwavering response ultimately attracted the interest of Yuvraj Ganesh, a younger producer who resonated with the story’s originality and the director’s vision.
Ganesh’s decision to fund the project without pressuring for a new lead cleared the final hurdle, allowing "Once More" to progress toward its scheduled global release on 28 August 2026.
