Motherhood Doesn’t Slow Her Down: Divyanka Tripathi on Parenting and Career

Mumbai, October 13 – Actress Divyanka Tripathi, currently sharing screen time with husband Vivek Dahiya on the reality show “Pati Patni Aur Panga,” revealed the practical hurdles she faces after giving birth to twin children. She described how the toddlers’ growing curiosity makes it impossible to leave them unattended, even for a brief period. While the infants are still largely in a “sleep‑and‑feed” phase, Divyanka anticipates a shift toward crawling and walking, which will amplify her responsibilities.

"Leaving them alone for even a couple of minutes feels overwhelming," she confessed, adding that she frequently takes the children onto the set to stay close to them. "It’s not the most convenient arrangement, but it allows me to keep working without compromising their safety."

When asked why she chose to return to work so quickly, Divyanka dismissed the myth of an effortless ‘bounce back.’ "On camera we appear happy, but underneath there’s pain, exhaustion, and sometimes mental fog," she said. "Women don’t magically recover the moment they give birth."

She pointed out that returning to work should be a personal decision, not a benchmark for others. "Every mother’s situation differs. Instead of judging each other, we should respect individual timelines and choices," Divyanka urged. "No one should say, ‘Divyanka did it, so you should too.’"

The actress thanked her husband and family for their unwavering support. "Vivek’s constant presence gives me the strength to push forward. My family’s belief in my abilities boosts my mental health, and staying active helps me stay balanced."
