Mohanlal‑Led Malayalam Thriller 'Atimanoharam' Advances to Post‑Production

Mohanlal headlines the upcoming Malayalam thriller Atimanoharam, which has now entered the final stages of post‑production. Actress Prathani Sandeep, who joined the cast earlier this year, announced that her dubbing work is complete, signaling that the film is moving toward its December release.

The project, produced by Aashik Usman Productions, began its voice‑over recordings on 17 August. In addition to Mohanlal as Sub‑Inspector T.S. Lvaljan, the ensemble features Meera Jasmine as Naisi, the officer’s wife, and Prathani Sandeep in a key supporting role.

Director Tarun Murti describes Atimanoharam as a blend of police procedural, family drama, and action‑comedy, focusing on the personal and professional challenges faced by a dedicated law‑enforcement officer. The soundtrack is crafted by Jex Bejoy, while the screenplay is authored by Ratish Ravi.

After the blockbuster Thudaram, expectations are high for this second back‑to‑back venture between the director and Mohanlal. The film is slated for a 24 December theatrical rollout across India.
