Mittal Voices Concerns Over UGC Rules and Fair‑Skin Bias in Schools

Kanhaiya Mittal used his platform in Alwar to critique the current UGC regulations, calling for greater governmental oversight and revision. He argued that no individual or institution should have the power to allocate resources arbitrarily, and that equal treatment must be guaranteed across all educational bodies.

Mittal also expressed worry about incidents where a child from a high‑caste background faces false accusations, potentially jeopardising the youngster’s future. He emphasized that a person's birth caste is not a fault and that every student, irrespective of social standing, deserves justice and protection within the school system.
